Project Coordinator

WWS has been implementing “Empowering Women through Economic Transformation” project in Sarkegad Rural Municipality of Humla Districts, Karnali Province. This project is implementing in partnership with Mission East and financial support of CKU with the aim to promote economic empowerment of the most marginalised women in Humla through sustainable livelihoods. 

Job Title:  Project Coordinator 

Duty Station:  Sarkegad Rural Municipality- Humla with frequent field visit in 8 wards 

Reports to:  Executive Director

Contract Period: 24 months

Specific responsibility: 

The overall responsibility of the position is to ensure that, a project runs smoothly to deliver the major goals of the project. The main task includes to make a comprehensive action plan, coordination with partner, CSOs, beneficiaries and target groups, collaboration with stakeholders, monitoring, reporting, and leading and capacity building of the project team. On top of that, the position ensuring the quality results.

Contract Period:  18 months

Specific responsibility: 

Business Development Officer will manage to implement activities of project related to livelihood (enterprise development, capacity building, financial and cooperative management) and empowerment of women coordinating with stake holders, CSO’s and other local government organizations. The overall aim of this role is implementing the activities to boost agri-business and entrepreneurial capacities of most marginalized women, members of cooperative of Humla. He or she needs to facilitate to establish linkage between buyers and sellers, and strengthen value chain system.
